Selah Place of Oregon County, Missouri is a nonprofit organization that is a proud member of the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (MOCADSV). This coalition is dedicated to providing vital domestic violence resources to survivors of domestic and sexual violence through the support of advocates and professionals. The MCADSV collaborates with its members to offer necessary resources, training, and expertise to assist communities and survivors of abuse. With efforts on both state and national levels, the Coalition aims to enhance policies addressing violence against women.
Mission
At Selah Place, we are committed to improving the lives of individuals in Oregon County, MO, and the surrounding areas. We connect clients with essential services they need to navigate their transformation from fear to courage, while focusing on survivors assistance.
Vision
Our vision is to provide a safe haven for women and children transitioning away from any form of violence. We aim to empower clients to achieve economic independence and financial stability while equipping them with the life skills necessary for a successful, abuse-free future. We strive to transform communities through education, access, and cooperation.
